Creation of an English-Language “Transatlantic Bridge” Program at the BZSH Foreign Trade Technical School

The BZSH Foreign Trade Technical School, a Jewish secondary institution in Budapest, seeks to establish a direct connection between Jewish youth in Hungary and the United States through a structured transatlantic exchange program.

Under the program, ten talented students and two faculty members each year would participate in an intensive one-month language and professional training program in the Los Angeles area. The experience would strengthen international identity and long term community engagement, while enabling participants to bring back best practices and serve as mentors within the school community.

The project also aims to enhance English-language education locally through the engagement of native-speaking instructors, ensuring access to globally competitive language skills for all students.

Your support would make this opportunity accessible to talented students who would otherwise lack the financial means to participate. This initiative represents a long-term investment in the global outlook, competitiveness, and intellectual capital of Hungary’s Jewish community.
