This project seeks to highlight the Jewish dimensions of the 1848–49 Hungarian Revolution and War of Independence (one of the defining events of Hungarian history) through a special anniversary commemorative program that has preserved its tradition for over two decades.
The initiative includes a jubilee memorial event, an accompanying academic conference, and the presentation of the Hungarian–Jewish Remembrance Award, offering a meaningful opportunity to honor historical memory and scholarly engagement.
