Children are among the most treasured assets of every synagogue community, as they represent the future of Jewish life in Hungary. By creating a dedicated child friendly space, the district seeks to strengthen long-term community building through the involvement of parents and grandparents alike.

Over time, the synagogue’s prayer books became worn from decades of devoted use. When they deteriorated beyond repair, they were respectfully buried by the community, as is customary. As a result, only a limited number of usable prayer books remain. To ensure that communal prayer continues with dignity, new siddurim and machzorim are needed. Priority
